MERKUR GAMING attracts great interest with brand new Kiddie Rides
International toy fair in Nuremberg
More than 80,000 visitors from 120 countries came to catch up on the innovations of the world lagest toy industry at this year’s international toy fair, which as usual took place in Nuremberg from 1 to 6 February. Right in the middle: MERKUR GAMING, which belongs to the Gauselmann Group, with its innovations from the kids’ entertainment range.
The absolute highlight of MERKUR GAMING at the Nuremberg trade show were the two new Disney-licensed Kiddie Rides ‘Princess Dream’ and ‘Lightning McQueen’. Having signed an extended license agreement with Disney in the summer of 2006, these are the first Kiddie Rides developed in-house by Gauselmann. Many customers, among them Andreas Rassbach, an operator of many years, are fully convinced of the Disney products and consider them an excellent economic perspective: “The machines are extremely well accepted, which offers us a unique basis for acquiring new operating venues. Last but not least the operators benefit from the highly topical Disney themes and the popularity of the personalities as well as from the general Disney campaigns.“ The long-year Disney licensee Christian Duboscq is thrilled: “MERKUR GAMING designed the two Disney products with much attention to detail. They are a child’s dream come true!“ This is surely one of the reasons why the new developments were also very popular with some of the top names of the European toy trade.
The experts were also enthused by the popular simulators for the computer kids generation aged up to 12 years. ‘Space Car Simulator’, ‘Space Bike Simulator’, and ‘Space Copter Simulator’ met with great positive acceptance. The interactive MERKUR GAMING simulators combine fun, challenge, and learning. They convey real-live driving situations and thus demand high skills from the kids.
With the touch-screen machine ‘Happy Kids’ children will now enjoy waiting! The up-to-date touch-screen technology with a design that is particularly suitable for children it offers entertaining and valuable educational games and learning programs. The customized Haribo Bear Version of ‘Happy Kids’ that the candy producer Haribo uses for special promotions demonstrated the manifold possibilities of the touch-screen device for children in Nuremberg.
MERKUR GAMING not only offers Kiddie Rides, but also attractive possibilities for presenting the machines: Kids’ Zone for two machines, Disney-Kiosk, and Spaceland-Kiosk for up to four machines each.
