Sales Cooperation between Gauselmann Group and SYNOT (Czech Republic)

Prague/Espelkamp. On the occasion of the international trade fair FORBES from 19th to 20th October 2005 in Prague (Czech Republic) the Gauselmann Group and the Czech company SYNOT concluded today an extensive long-term distribution cooperation for the Czech Republic.

For Rolf Klug, Board Member of the Merkur- and Spielothek pillar international of the Gauselmann Group, and Ivo Valenta, owner of SYNOT, the long-term strategic distribution cooperation is an important signal for the Czech market, since from now the major Operator and Distributor of AWP machines in the Czech Republic and the powerful European Gauselmann Group will pool their activities to the benefit of their Czech customers and the players.

The distribution cooperation proves also that in this growing market, the competence of the Gauselmann Group is widely recognized. “Almost 600 game developers worldwide, from game design to mathematics and ISO accredited quality management, underline the innovation skills of the family-owned Gauselmann Group, “ says Rolf Klug.

The subsidiaries of Gauselmann STELLA INTERNATIONAL and MEXIM will present their latest product range “made by Gauselmann“ at the international trade fair, where they will demonstrate once again that their “one stop shop“ concept offers customers the right products and services for all market requirements. Four new video-based AWP machines will be on exhibit, but also the novel MERKUR-Roulette LUCKY WHEEL, the successful touchscreen MERKUR TRENDY, and as just one example of our portfolio for the youngest generation the SPACE CAR SIMULATOR, a Kiddie Rides with an elaborate computer simulation, will be presented.

However, the company will not only give an overview of its latest products at its own booth, but also at the booth of the new partner SYNOT, where four new AWP machines for the Czech market will be exhibited.

STELLA INTERNATIONAL and MEXIM are subsidiaries of the Gauselmann Group which has activities around the globe. In the fiscal year 2004 the family-owned company generated consolidated sales of EURO 670 million. As of the end of the fiscal year 2004 the headcount worldwide was 5,793, and ever since the company was established it has sold a total of 2 million gaming products globally.
