MERKUR GAMING ISO 9001 certified – high product quality for the customersScope of the ISO standard extended: TÜV Rheinland Industrie Service GmbH grants certification to MERKUR GAMINGAn ISO certification marks the beginning of the year 2007 for MERKUR GAMING. Following two other subsidiaries of the Gauselmann Group, adp Gauselmann GmbH and BEIT Systemhaus GmbH that already obtained the certification according to ISO, now MERKUR GAMING, a subsidiary of the Gauselmann Group, received the ISO certification for “development and design of gaming machines with and without cash prize” from TÜV Rheinland Industrie Service GmbH. “We are very proud of this certification“, says Axel F. Pawlas, CSO MERKUR GAMING. After a comprehensive test procedure in December 2006 the subsidiary has now been officially awarded the certification covering quality management in the area of “development and design of gaming machines with and without cash prize.” “A company can only be successful, if it offers its customers consistently high quality. Our customers are extremely exigent and we would like to continuously meet their exigencies. We embarked upon the right course with our newly certified quality management“, explains Axel Pawlas, because the certification means both for the company, acknowledgement and encouragement. Under the umbrella of Merkur International MERKUR GAMING is responsible for the European MERKUR sales in the globally active Gauselmann Group. Today, the Gauselmann Group is the only ISO-certified company in the vending and amusement machine industry. In the control reviews of the certification agency TÜV-CERT that have to be repeated every year the company has succeeded in meeting the high standards. The technical scope of the certification of adp Gauselmann GmbH comprises “development, production, sales and support of coin-operated machines with and without cash prize.“ In addition, BEIT Systemhaus GmbH very recently obtained the certification for the business areas IT-Solutions (realization of new IT solutions as well as their further development and optimization), IT services (operation of IT applications including IT infrastructure and IT workplace equipment as well as operation of an IT services center) and IT training (planning and holding standard and customized IT training). |
