Las Vegas/Luebbecke. For Merkur Gaming the Global Gaming Expo (G2E), to be held in Las Vegas from the 27th to 29th September at the Sands Convention and Expo Center, will be a hugely significant event with a new and greatly enlarged exhibition booth (number 3353), some recent key additions to the team and, most significantly of all, the premiere of a brand new product.
Merkur Gaming will take great pride in giving a world premiere to its latest signature gaming cabinet, Evostar. As its title suggests, Evostar is an evolutionary advance step to the Avantgarde SLT and Merkurstar; the forward looking electronic gaming machines that have become runaway global success since their respective launches at ICE 2015 and ICE 2016 in London.
This new member of the Merkur Gaming family is still being kept under wraps until its official debut as G2E opens its doors but it has, as befits its Evo title, a shared innovation heritage with both Avantgarde SLT and Merkurstar; being a unique hybrid service-friendly upright with the added player comfort factor of a slant top player position. As an added player attraction Evostar features a built-in USB port that allows guests to conveniently charge their mobile devices as they play, free of charge.
Just as Avantgarde SLT and Merkurstar have already proven so successful in international markets around the world, so too will the new Evostar take players on a brand new journey of gaming thrills and excellence. Merkur Gaming’s continuing development stream is driven by innovation: Innovation is our tradition!
Athanasios ‘Sakis’ Isaakidis, Director of International Sales and Head of International Product Management, said: “G2E will be a hugely significant event for Merkur Gaming. As well as the premiere of Evostar we have a fantastic line-up of products such as Merkurstar and Avantgarde SLT, Merkur Dynamic Display, plus exceptional new HD games that will really catch the attention of visitors.”
Chief Executive of Merkur Gaming Americas, Charles Hiten, added: “Our team is both extremely strong and diverse. This will be the show where we will formally introduce our new general managers for Colombia and Mexico, together with other new key team members. We will also be making an important announcement on the first day of G2E, something that will give a very clear indication of our forward looking plans and intentions. All in all, G2E will be something very special for the Global Merkur Gaming Team who will make every effort to give visitors to our booth a very special show experience in Las Vegas.”
