Lima. Merkur Gaming celebrated the 15th edition of the Peru Gaming Show as part of a diverse representation of the Gauselmann Group’s as a multifaceted gaming solutions strategic business partner that, in Lima, included cash handling experts GeWeTe and sports betting leaders Cashpoint and edict alongside the dynamic product display of the Gauselmann Group’s local subsidiary, Merkur Gaming Peru.
Espelkamp. From a purely economic perspective, the family-owned Gauselmann Group from Espelkamp in eastern Westphalia – under the management of Paul and Armin Gauselmann and six other managing directors – closed the 2016 financial year on an extremely positive note. Cumulative sales of all entities in the Gauselmann Group with its internationally known “laughing Merkur sun” trademark were up by 14.2 per cent to 2.53 billion euros. Adjusted for intragroup sales, sales revenues climbed by 17.8 per cent to 1.72 billion euros – an increase of 260 million euros. Hand in hand with this, the number of employees rose in the same period by 1,198 to total 10,438 games makers worldwide.
Miami. The second edition of Juegos Miami (May 31st – June 2nd) was marked by an upswing in international visitor attendance and exhibitor participation that has clearly reinforced the position of the show in its Florida location and on the gaming industry’s annual event schedule.
